In short: VerdelShot collects no personal data, has no user accounts, and your screenshots never leave your Mac.
What the app does with your data
- Screenshots: they are stored only on your computer: on the clipboard, in the folder you choose, and in the recent-captures history that lives on your Mac. You can clear or turn off that history in Settings.
- Offline: the app sends no screenshots, usage statistics, or error reports to any server. It doesn't need the internet to work.
- Pro license: the license key is verified on your own computer, without contacting any server. The key contains the name and email it was issued to; it is stored only in the app's preferences.
- macOS permissions: the app asks for the “Screen Recording” permission because it is required to capture the screen. It isn't used for anything else.
Purchases
If you buy the Pro license, the third-party payment provider processes your payment and keeps the transaction data under its own privacy policy. DozaOrg receives your name and email to issue and send your license key and to provide support.
This website
The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, which may log technical access data (such as IP addresses) to operate and protect the service. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, so your browser makes a request to Google when you open the page. The site uses no tracking cookies or analytics tools.

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of the data we hold about you (essentially your purchase details) by writing to the contact below.
